Ethno-Urban Orchestra 2012
The Ethno-Urban Orchestra is a premiere concert event that involves over one hundred talented high school musicians from orchestra, band, and chorus programs in selected cities throughout America. Students will participate in two exciting days of workshops and rehearsals alongside members of the critically acclaimed and nationally renowned, Boston String Quartet culminating in a final performance at a professional concert hall. Repertoire will include music from film and video game music (including Mario Brothers and Zelda) to world and rock music selections by composers from throughout the globe.
